Dead in the Water: Prologue, pg 1

Hey, gang!  We made an excutive decision to cut back on some of our less popular webcomic series (not "cut out," but "cut back" for all 2 of you die-hard Genre Squad fans out there...)  in order to spend more time on our serial titles, like the previously hinted at Dead in the Water.  For example: see the rough of the very first page of the series below!

We'll be posting page updates bi-weekly (opposite of Beatrice) until a whole issue is done!  And then we'll make the completed issue into a printed book, and move onto the next one and the next one and the next one....  :)

Hope you enjoy our newest efforts!

Evidence of other work!

Hey, kids!  Since we always talk about how busy we are outside of our comic-book-lives, we thought we'd give you a sneak peak into our other worlds!

Celeste not only works a full-time job, but also volunteers full-time at a non-profit creative community center (http://lyricmusictheater.org/).  Right now, she's busy producing an original fundraiser for them at the end of June.  The "Choose Your Own Adventure Karaoke Musical" was the brainchild of David Surkin (the pirate in the picture), and Sean Senior (pictured below as the mad scientist) helped Celeste co-write it in record time!  And to top it off, Jeff was awesome enough to do the poster art for the event.  Yay!

Jeff works double-full-time as an artist in Los Angeles, not only as a 9-5er (and usually more than that...), but also independently.  When not cranking out our webcomic material, he works on classwork for an artistic program he's enrolled in, his hugely popular Twisted Princess collection, assorted and amazing portfolio material, and our upcoming serial work.  Oh, and not to mention managing his international celebrity status.... :)

Here's a video of a Twisted Princess-inspired performance from the Danish 2012 SVSCON:
